Ok, I am very jealous. We get...slushy, sleety, snow, wind, and rain. You have that. I don't see the fairness!! :(

Hi Ellie,

Thanks for the message. Yeah, was lovely, bright and sunny on Monday but very cold, grey and windy now so not so much to be jealous of, apart from......... the yummy food and very cute kids I have met in the primary schools. You would love it as they are so enthusiastic about speaking English. Definitely think it is something you should do and if you do A Level French, you may well get the chance. They had some classic questions. One boy asked what month and year we are currently in in the UK!!!! I told him that we are English not aliens!! How was the listening past paper on Monday? Hope all is ok with you and Gillotts, but tell Mr Sykes that if he does not remove that hideous picture of my huge head from the blog, I will NEVER speak to him again!!
A plus!

You are welcome! You cant forget us while you are over there having lots of fun, can you? Less weather jealousy, but what you're doing seems to beat me. I can imagine how keen they are, but definately liking the idea that we have differnt months and years to them! You're right, it sounds like something I would like to do- you should have snuck me there, somehow?
Past paper was ok, it was the one we did for our mock mock at the end of year 10, although I believe it got harder since. I will tell Mr Sykes, although there really isnt anything wrong with it!
Have fun!

Hi,

-5 today and soooooooooo cold. I have 4 layers on and a ski jacket, and I am still cold. Mrs Knott-Fryer arrived yesterday and I'll see her at a meal tonight. Just had crepes for lunch - yum!! Hope the reading goes ok tomorrow and have fab half term.

Rapid loss of jealousy, I can honestly say! Oh right, say hello to her from me- not only has she left me in form, she has now left the country. ALthough does explain why I couldnt find her to help me with my College application yesterday! I have done it now, and French is on there- Im just hoping I dont live to regret it.
Have a good half term too.
